Triangle Route – Two Boat Schedule Beginning March 18 Here’s a message from Washington State Ferries:

The Fauntleroy/Vashon/Southworth route will be reduced to two-boat service today due to unplanned vessel maintenance. Motor repairs to the Kaleetan will leave one-third of the fleet undergoing maintenance. The lack of a backup boat in the system requires going to the two boat schedule. WSF says its crews are working to return a boat back to service as soon as possible, but the changes could remain in place for the rest of the week until Saturday, March 23.

Compared to the two-boat schedule two weeks ago there will be two 124-vehicle capacity ferries on the route, versus having the smaller Sealth as one of the two boats.
