Upcoming Two Boat Schedule and Reduced Capacity Here’s a message from Washington State Ferries:

The Fall sailing season begins on Sunday, September 29. The 124-vehicle Kittitas that is typically assigned to the Triangle route, will be undergoing maintenance at this time. In its place, the 90-vehicle Sealth will substitute on the route for approximately the first month of the Fall schedule.

In addition, the Sealth is required to undergo a U.S. Coast Guard-mandated inspection by November 2, which means that the Triangle route will tentatively operate on a 2-boat schedule during the last week of October. This is subject to change; more information will be provided as the date approaches.
