A Vashon Minute: Join host Susan McCabe as she gets to know Aspen Anderson, the new editor of our community newspaper, The Beachcomer. Tune in to find out what Aspen plans for the paper, how she found Vashon and her focus on ‘hard’ news.
Alternative Vashon: Tune in this week as Pixies play live in the Alt Vashon Garage, and Jeff Ament of Pearl Jam hangs out. The Long Lost Song is from 1995, and you will hear Killer Tracks by Clash, Sublime, White Stripes and Depeche Mode.
Stirring the Pot: All three hosts, Linda Nygaard, Tom Conway and Selin Demir will be in the studio together to share some ideas about how you might lessen your stress in the kitchen by making some “no fuss” meals in one pot, tricks for easy pie crust, and some favorite cookie recipes.

Boogie Back To Texas: Join Boogie Back host Geoff Fletcher for his annual holidaze show which turns out to be less than traditional.
Beyond Category: Hear a feast of musical peace and love, with a side dish of Louis Armstrong wishing you a Cool Yule. Tune in for a change from the usual holiday fare, offered in the spirit of the season.
The TGIF Show: Oh, it’s time for the TGIF Christmas Funk Show. Yes, we’re letting Bootsy Collins funky up those good ol’ Christmas standards, as well as playing a whole lotta other original funky Christmas tunes that will get you off that couch, moving your body and putting a wonderfully big smile on your face. Check it out and hear for yourself.
Atmospheric Rivers:
’75 at 50 — Another lap around the sun lands us squarely in 1975, a year when music felt unhurried, expansive, and just a little bit dangerous.
Sunday Silence: Eyes in Place of an Eye — This episode attempts to follow the apocryphal Gospel of Thomas to the word: making the two into one, folding the outside into the inside, forging two eyes in place of one.
