Voice of Vashon Dallas Wayne - I Did the Right Thing

Our Vashon-Maury Island is a community well known for its resident activism and involvement in local civic groups, as well as regional and national organizations. The arts, politics, education and family life are some of the areas of interest embraced by Islanders. Thus, because the Island is physically isolated, there is truly a sense on Vashon that as an island community, connected only by ferry boats to the City of Seattle, "we are all in this together" in our every day lives. Yet, because of our isolation, although cherish by Islanders, this Island community is often under served by traditional information services in the region.

The link, to one another and to the outside world, is the Voice of Vashon Webcast Radio Station. A non-profit effort newly begun on the Island, the Voice of Vashon provides audio programming daily via the Internet by clicking on the LISTEN button on the top right corner of this site. The station provides timely and immediate access to programs that interest Islanders, providing relevant local information and choices for listening.
