VoV’s longest-running show, The Jazz Guy offers up a delightfully eclectic mix of some of the world’s best jazz, creatively put together into themed, one-hour shows by Bill Wood, a retired Hollywood screenwriter, and his audio engineer, Michael Golen-Johnson. And don’t expect the usual themes. (Bill only did “love” recently, to mark his 300th show.) Since July 1999, Bill’s jazz shows have highlighted flowers, insects, birds, oceans, friends, dreams, Halloween, sports, really rotten people and more. You can learn more about Bill on his website.
