Emma Amiad

Vashon realtor and activist Emma Amiad is moving off the island after 32 years. She’s been a leader on many fronts — founding the Land Trust and Vashon Audubon, serving on the Parks Board, heading the Interfaith Council to Prevent Homelessness, shepherding the island’s Jewish congregation. Host Eric Pryne talks with Amiad about the Vashon she moved to in 1987, the island she’s leaving in 2019, and the many roles she played in three decades as an agent of change.
