The Vashon Conversation for the Living about Dying team is offering an Island-wide event, one-day workshop is focused on “Unraveling the Mystery of Palliative Care.” It is an opportunity to learn about care focused on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness with the goal of improving quality of life for both patient and family. We will explore multiple approaches to pain management, stress, and anxiety; including complementary and alternative interventions.
