Friends of Mukai is the dynamic organization that has exquisitely revitalized Mukai Farm & Garden over the last five years. They’ve successfully restored the house and garden originally created by members of the Mukai family. And, with it, the group has brought to life the Japanese-American community so vital to the social and economic history of Vashon-Maury Islands. Their next restorative step is to repurpose the Farm’s fruit barreling plant.
