REALTalk ~ People Power Accountability

October 13th, 2020 by Susan McCabe

In week two of REALTalk’s month of exploring the personal side of politics, host Susan McCabe will Zoom interview a panel of three people working with the Seattle King County People Power Accountability Working Group (SKCPPPAWG). Vashon’s own Bailey DeIongh, Shoreline resident Eliza Furmansky and Seattle-based political consultant Shannon Cheng work to, among other things, counter the effects of systemic racism in King County and nationwide.
This November, King County residents will have the opportunity to affect police accountability by voting on four key charter amendments. This group will explain those amendments and the potential impact of their being adopted or not.
Tune in to find out what this means to you. It’s sure to be REAL.
