Join Dj Dez Disco as we explore the forgotten genre known as Italo Disco. It’s mostly 80s, mostly european, mostly obscure disco. 

Disco “died” in the US at the end of the 70s, but it kept going in Europe! Exchange rates made it challenging to import records from the UK and the US, so DJs and producers made their own albums that were “kind of” in English.

The result was an often overlooked genre that is fun, poetic, experimental, and great to dance to. You may not realize how much these forgotten 80s disco gems influenced the dance music that followed it.
