Patricia Henley has a newly released YA novel. This book is for the YA audience, but I enjoyed it as an adult. The characters are layered with whole lives and relatable problems. They alternate between loving and despairing about their newly married, imperfect parents and an unusual grandmother who always gives them a safe place to be! Direct and honest, I hope to see the next book in this series soon!
