With over 30 years of distinguished practice in landscape architecture, Kathryn Gustafson’s groundbreaking, contemporary work incorporates sculptural, sensual qualities fundamental to the human experience of landscape.

Her celebrated designs include the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., and the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain in London, U.K. Partnerships span GGN in Seattle and Gustafson Porter in London. She is an honorary fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects, honorary member of the Royal Designers for Industry and medalist of Académie Royale d’Architecture.
