Maury Island singer/songwriter/producer/engineer Pete Droge has been dealing with chronic fatigue for a couple of years, borne partially of his total immersion in and commitment to every music project he tackles. Finally, he decided to make music that could help him relax and re-charge. It’s also music he can play in the background to help him focus and get shit done. The track is called “I Am Awake” and it plays underneath much of his conversation with Jeff & Cindy, which touches on obsession, over-work, productivity and letting go.
