Prose, Poetry & Purpose – Jeff Granville

April 21st, 2020 by March Twisdale

Jeff Granville held a deep fascination with the merging fields of science and spirituality for most of his life. On New Year’s Eve in 2014, Jeff’s knowledge was put to the test in a trial by fire. Jeff’s world was upended with a parent’s worst nightmare, his 4 year-old son Makoy was diagnosed with leukemia. The only light in their darkest hour was Jeff’s insights into the empowering world of quantum physics and the new science of epigenetics, each of which emphasize the power of the mind in controlling biology and health.
Rather than succumbing to the dreaded prognosis, Jeff employed the power of mindfulness in providing a positive environment to help his son thrive through a barrage of dangerous and invasive medical procedures. Throughout the ordeal, Jeff’s efforts saved his son’s life several times and aided his recovery to the amazement of the attending physicians. The profound value of Jeff’s collaboration with the medical staff has led to a paradigm shift in the care of pediatric patients.
To bring the healing power of mindfulness to pediatric patients and their families, Jeff and partner Bonnie McCaffrey have co-founded Mindful Presents, an organization that provides health-enhancing support, aid, and therapies for stressed families. As a pioneer in the field of epigenetics, I applaud and honor the profoundly important contribution Jeff Granville has provided in enhancing pediatric care in specific, and medicine in general. Mindful Presents is a valuable resource that can engage self-healing and the opportunity to reclaim sovereignty over our health and our lives.
Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D., stem cell biologist and pioneer in epigenetic science, is an internationally recognized leader in the “new” biology bridging the Body-Mind-Spirit trinity. He is the bestselling author of The Biology of Belief, The Honeymoon Effect, and co-author of Spontaneous Evolution.
