We on Puget Sound have been watching with broken hearts as Orca mother, Tahlequah has carried her stillborn calf on her back since July 24. The calf’s body is now decomposing and she persisted for 17 days.

Backbone Campaign’s Bill Moyer and marine scientists studying Tahlequah and her pod are heeding what they see as her call to action to save the Orcas from extinction.
