REALTalk ~ Stephen Silha ~ Big Joy

January 7th, 2020 by Susan McCabe

“Trust is built in small moments.  Small moments make a big life.”  These are the words of the late poet and filmmaker, James Broughton, whose life and film Big Joy, will be the core of a celebration  at Vashon Center for the Arts Saturday afternoon, January 11.  Broughton’s idiosyncratic life and his groundbreaking work have influenced many lives through decades on the American West Coast and in Europe. Join host Susan McCabe as she talks with event producer Stephen Silha and performance artist Jason Jenn about Broughton’s profound influence on cinema and censorship, as well as the notion he espoused of living a transcendent life. It’s sure to be REAL.
